Epic Nova Scotia Motorcycle Adventure – Day 1

This post brought to you from…my parent’s house in VA.

Ok, so Day 1 maybe wasn’t so epic or adventurous. However, we covered some familiar and not familiar ground in central Virginia, and the weather was perfect.

Early this morning, we took a break to briefly explore the Booker T. Washington National Monument. We then made our way north to the Blue Ridge Parkway, came down off the ridge to follow the Shennandoah valley up to my parent’s house, just west of Leesburg, VA.

Oh, and from now on, Epic Nova Scotia Motorcycle Adventure = ENSMA, b/c I don’t want to type the whole thing out on the netbook keypad anymore.
