Cantaloupe Sorbet

The theme this week is “how to keep excess produce from the garden from going to waste.” After eating all we care to while its fresh, the easiest thing to do is give some away, which we are doing. The next step is freezing or preserving in some way to use for later. The internet has been very helpful with this part, thus cantaloupe sorbet. I mostly followed this easy-to-make recipe, but with less sugar. The result is a tasty frozen dessert (that I seem to eat a little bit of after lunch and dinner), that will likely get eaten up shortly.
