We had more beautiful riding weather this morning as we left camp, and headed for the pass into Jackson, WY, en route to Grand Teton National Park.
Jackson, WY was a busy, touristy mess.
Today was a pretty easy day, and we didn’t cover very many miles. Our camp in Teton was luxurious compared to where we’d been. A short ride from our campsite brought us to some much needed hot showers (four days without a real shower is not a record I’m looking to break), and a restaurant for dinner. The restaurant had good wi-fi, and cell reception was not too bad just up the road. We spent the late afternoon taking advantage of the connectivity, and trying to catch up on blogging. Ice cream cones and a walk near Jackson lake at sunset made the day feel pretty relaxed, despite the fact that Teton is a really busy national Park.
7/31/2012 – 111 miles. Finally, some cushy camping with showers and a restaurant.
