Western US Moto Adventure 8/13/2012: CO, KS – superslabin’ it home

We decided to jet home the fast way today. Its not that we are tired of being on the road; touring around on our motorcycles has been enormously fun. Its just that everything we’re looking forward to is at home. If we needed to decompress, this trip has done it. We’re both even motivated to go back to work. We thought briefly about going to see the Moto GP race at Indy again on our way back, but decided against it. We’ve already been to that one live last year, and don’t really like that track for GP racing.

Taking the superslab is almost cruel and unusual punishment on my Monster, but I don’t think its illegal if you do it to yourself. From Colorado Springs, we made it to nearly Kansas City tonight. That’s a new record for me.

8/13/2012 – 549 miles.
