Quote of the Day

I think the beginning of 2014 (well, nearly, its the end of January already) is a good time to revive the ‘ol quote of the day category. I have a bunch of good ones saved up.

I could use this category as a place to write about the quotes in context, especially with currents events. If I were a real blogger I would do this, and provide links to news stories and such. But I probably won’t most of the time, maybe ever. As the meme says, ain’t nobody got time for that.

So, as before, what you get are quotes I like or I think otherwise say something meaningful, dropped here completely without context. I’m sure you can provide your own, and honestly, some of them don’t need much context. Let’s get on with it – *draws quote at random*.

Quote of the day for 2014/01/31:

“The fact that the market is not doing what we wish it would do is no reason to automatically assume that the government would do better.” ― Thomas Sowell
