Looks like Cody really likes snow…..too bad you don’t have cross country skis for days like this. So your new truck is RED – nice. Exactly how many inches of snow did you get and how long before it melts?

Forget the skiis, we wanted snowshoes! Cody loves the snow, its fun just watching him having so much fun. All six inches will likely be gone later this week, see comment above, they are calling for 50s by the end of the week. (Old truck was also red, just a darker shade:)

  4. My dogs also have so much fun on snow. They are the most adorable things in the world!

OMG, too wierd! I stumbled upon your blog while researching tank bags for my Monster…and now I see we also have the same dog! Seana from Seattle, pleased to make your acquaintance. Headed to MT on solo in a couple weeks, only a 7 day trip but will be my longest to date. Our chessie’s name is Roger, he’s more of a brown/sedge than the tan coloring like yours but also has his orange collar on today like in your pics! Funny :)

Hi Seana. *waves* I love it when these small world moments happen. If you ride a Monster and have a Chessie, you clearly have good taste:) Cody “the bear” used to be a darker brown, but has gotten lighter over time. That brown is still great camo, without the orange collar we’d never find him in the woods:) At 10 years old, he’s getting to be a bit of an old man, but he’s still loving life. Does Roger like to sit on your feet too? Enjoy your moto trip and ride safe. I’m not riding nearly as much as I’d like to lately and have the moto travel itch terribly, so go while you can! 7 days sounds great for a solo trip!

Roger is actually allowed to sit on the couch and he has a memory foam bed he LOVES, so not really a foot sitter. He does insist on sitting practically on my hip when we “share” the couch, even though I give him more than half. Sometimes I tuck my feet under him in the winter for warmth. I know, spoiled old boy (he’s 11 now). Your new house is beautiful, enjoy and take care!!
